The candy stripe, the traditional braid, and the Chinese staircase are the most popular stitches or patterns. The handmade bracelets are more expensive because they take a lot of hard work and effort. They are also very time consuming.











How to make friendship bracelets out of string



Materials:* string or embroidery floss *scissors* tape or clipboard
Step 1 Cut 3 or more pieces of string about 75 centimeters long
Step 2 Tie a knot about 2 centimeters away from the top
Step 3 Starting from the left working to the right take the first string and tie a knot around the second string do this twice
Step 4 Keep repeating step 3 until the first string is the last string
Step 5 Do the same thing as in step 3 with the next most left string which is now the first string
Step 6 Keep on taking the most left string and tying knots around each next string
Step 7 Repeat steps 3-6 and eventually your bracelet will be finished
